PurchaseMate Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account: first name, last name and mobile number, used to sign you in with a one-time code.
• Push token: your device's notification token, used to deliver sign-in codes and reminders.
• Your content: spaces, lists, items, tasks, categories, reminders and the members you invite.
• Bill photos: images you choose to scan, stored on our server and sent to Google Gemini to read the items.
• Voice: speech is recognised on your device; only the resulting text is sent to our server. Spoken replies are generated through Google's text-to-speech service.

We do not collect location, contacts, or advertising identifiers, and we show no ads.

How it is used and shared

Data is used only to run the app's features. It is stored on Amazon Web Services (EU) and MongoDB Atlas, and processed by Google for bill scanning and speech as described above. We do not sell data or share it for advertising. All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).

Retention and deletion

Data is kept while your account exists. You can delete your account and all of its data at any time from Home → Delete Account in the app, or as described on the account deletion page.

Children

PurchaseMate is not directed at children under 13.
